“I can’t wait to love you more in the morning” is what Nick closed his speech to Ceri with on the night of their wedding reception. It was such a personal statement that he made so publicly in front of their closest friends and family.
From the impromptu dance moves during the speeches through to the little scrabble letters on the table, Nick & Ceri’s wedding day was full of personal touches. The gents wore outrageously bright coloured socks and the ladies looked stunning on the golf course with their bright yellow bouquets.
Nick & Ceri clearly put a huge amount of effort into planning their wedding day and it went down in history as a colourful, fun and loving day on the beach at Wai-iti just north of New Plymouth.
Ceri & Nick’s wedding was also the first wedding ever that Jono Tucker and his team of talented artists captured both the photography and the videography of the same wedding. Normally we’re only brave enough to capture one but we loved the challenge and this wedding was the ideal visual feast for that occasion. One of my favourite shots from the day was one that we grabbed of Nick picking up his wedding rings from the Taranaki Daily Newspaper, see if you can spot it.
Sit back and enjoy the film and catch a glimpse of their fantastic wedding day. If ever anyone needed convincing that a cinematic wedding video is the best way to capture the feeling then this is a great example. Don’t get me wrong, wedding photos are priceless memories but a well produced video can transport you to the wedding like nothing else (I am a little biased of course :)
You can see a preview of some of the wedding photos on my website here.
