Nick & Ceri’s Wedding Video

“I can’t wait to love you more in the morning” is what Nick closed his speech to Ceri with on the night of their wedding reception. It was such a personal statement that he made so publicly in front of their closest friends and family.

From the impromptu dance moves during the speeches through to the little scrabble letters on the table, Nick & Ceri’s wedding day was full of personal touches. The gents wore outrageously bright coloured socks and the ladies looked stunning on the golf course with their bright yellow bouquets.

Nick & Ceri clearly put a huge amount of effort into planning their wedding day and it went down in history as a colourful, fun and loving day on the beach at Wai-iti just north of New Plymouth.

Ceri & Nick’s wedding was also the first wedding ever that Jono Tucker and his team of talented artists captured both the photography and the videography of the same wedding. Normally we’re only brave enough to capture one but we loved the challenge and this wedding was the ideal visual feast for that occasion. One of my favourite shots from the day was one that we grabbed of Nick picking up his wedding rings from the Taranaki Daily Newspaper, see if you can spot it.

Sit back and enjoy the film and catch a glimpse of their fantastic wedding day. If ever anyone needed convincing that a cinematic wedding video is the best way to capture the feeling then this is a great example. Don’t get me wrong, wedding photos are priceless memories but a well produced video can transport you to the wedding like nothing else (I am a little biased of course :)

You can see a preview of some of the wedding photos on my website here.

Mark & Kelda’s Wellington Botanic Garden Wedding Photos

Mark and Kelda were married in Wellington in front of their closest family and friends in a stunning setting at the duck pond at the Wellington Botanic Garden. The sun was shining through the brown autumn leaves which allowed me to capture some stunning images with the light coming through the trees. We had a lot of fun on the creative photo shoot before heading back to Mac’s Brewery Bar for the wedding reception (which was also combined with Mark’s 40th birthday). Kelda had done an amazing job of arranging super delicious Macarons from Christchurch not to mention the table of sweets and Hershey’s Kisses with their own custom stickers on each one! The first shot you’ll see below is the amazing view of Wellington harbour taken from Kelda’s room at the Duxton hotel. I love the blue and the tiny sailing boats.

Bobby & Whetu’s Wedding Video

Bobby & Whetu were married on a gorgeous Wellington day at The Dell in the Botanical Gardens. It was the ideal setting for the beginning of their new love story. The heartfelt speeches and dancing was held at The Boatshed on Wellington’s waterfront.

Their wedding highlight film is the sweetest little reflection of the love & laughter that was shared on that day. Both Bobby & Whetu are talented, creative and unique and their family loves them dearly. I hope all of that comes through in their wedding video.
