Kirsty & Sean’s Martinborough Wedding Film

They say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day (or so I’m told), personally I think people say that because it’s the first real test of adversity that a couple have to go through on their married journey. So if the skies open, and the newly married couple can make it through the day with a smile on their face because the weather didn’t quite go to plan then they’ve succeeded! And that is exactly how Kirsty and Sean’s wedding ceremony at Coney Wines went. They didn’t let a little rain deter them and still managed to have a fantastically fun day with their nearest and dearest.

There were so many little details that made their day unique from the super creative wedding invites, to a cake of cheese tiers (not a cheesecake) and personalised buffet dessert table. After all the speeches were said and done they danced the night away at the St Andrews Hall. Here is a little glimpse into the story of their wedding day in Martinborough…

Mandy & Hone’s Lacewood Wedding Film

If you only watch one wedding film this year, it should be this one.

To me, Mandy & Hone’s wedding film is what the significance of a wedding is all about. Their whole day came together with the perfect blend of tender moments from the ceremony, followed by heartfelt speeches and side splitting laughter from the jokes throughout the evening. It was one of those weddings where you could feel the love in the room, not in a cliche sort of way, but in a way that you knew instantly that this was one big family that cared for each other and were witnesses to something special.

You can hear the tenderness in Mandy and Hone’s voices when they read their hand crafted wedding vows to each other and you can’t help but react with Hone as he sees Mandy for the first time that day coming up the aisle towards him. Those are moments that they’ll remember forever.

In balance to the amazing memories they created on their wedding day was the super relaxed bridal party who were there to support their leading man/woman and have a whole lot of fun. The speeches were Laugh Out Loud funny and serve as a reminder that weddings are equally about having a great time, which is exactly how they’ll remember their day.

So grab a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy the wild flowers at the stunning Lacewood wedding venue and get a glimpse into Mandy and Hone’s dream wedding day.

Brittany & Glen’s Wedding Film

Brittany and Glen were married at Old St Paul’s in Wellington on a spectacular day in March. The wedding reception was held at the Hotel Intercontinental Ballroom to signify the joining of two lovely Wellington families. I was fortunate enough to be invited along by Brittany’s parents Russell and Sarina to capture the whole day for them on film, from the morning preparations through to the dance floor in the evening. Glen won some brownie points by sending Brittany a bunch of roses in the morning on the day and then surprised her with a tattoo to mark the important date. After the wedding ceremony the bridal party visited the grounds at Parliament for some photos with Paul Howell before the grand entrance in the ballroom that had been meticulously decorated by Brittany’s talented mother Sarina. Congrats Brittany and Glen on your memorable day!
