Kim & James’ Ohariu Farm Wedding Film

Kim & James were married at Ohariu Farm surrounded by their closest friends and family. They had a stunning day, that ended with an amazing sunset over the golden farm hills. Kim had gone to a huge amount of effort to plan every little detail for the wedding and it certainly showed. From the candy buffet to the candles on the tables the scene was set for a memorable day. The boys got ready at the cottage with a spot of backyard cricket in the morning while the girls chilled out at Kim and James’ home. Kim’s entrance to her ceremony was by the very talented Peter Leask playing acoustic guitar. The bridal party then disappeared to the Ohariu Farm cottage for photos with the talented Mel Waite while the guests amused themselves with Ohariu’s many outdoor activities.

Thanks to Kim & James for having us out to Ohariu Farm to document your wedding on film.

Mel & Nathan’s Wedding Film

Mel & Nathan were married on a rainy day out at Kaitoke Gardens but that didn’t dampen their enthusiasm one little bit. They had desperately wanted to get married in the picturesque garden setting and reminded themselves that a little rain never hurt anyone. Mel and Nathan are such sweethearts together, they both have a gentle and caring nature which made for such a relaxed wedding day.

The wedding was a total success and a huge party followed the formal ceremony and reception speeches, although a little less for Mel as they let slip that they have twins on the way! Congrats Mel & Nathan on a simply fantastic Wellington wedding.

Kirsten & Dave’s Wedding Film

Kirsten and (hot) Dave were married on a stunning day at Cossars Wineshed. I’ve known Kirsten for a few years and when I got the email from her that she wanted me to film her wedding I was over the moon. Before even landing in Christchurch I knew it was going to be an amazing day.

Kirsten and Dave’s wedding certainly didn’t disappoint in that regard. The ceremony was held in the garden at Cossars Wineshed, and was expertly managed by the most friendly venue manager that we’ve dealt with in years (Hi Sophie).

No wedding day runs perfectly to plan, but even I was a little surprised when Kirsten’s wedding veil blew off during the photo shoot at Halswell Quarry, but in typical Kirsten fashion she just laughed about it as her brother and father scrambled up the cliff to retrieve it. During the ceremony, Dave was so distracted by Kirsten’s stunning wedding dress that he may have missed his cue during the wedding vows, but you’ll have to watch the film to see how he recovered from that.

Both Kirsten and (hot) Dave are practically cover models which makes it pretty hard to get a bad shot of them :)
Thanks Kirsten and Dave for trusting me to capture your wedding day in video.
